Potato bake

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter, melted
8 large potatoes
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp paprika
2 ½ cups cheddar cheese
Handful of fresh, chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a large baking dish.
2. Mix melted butter, cream, garlic, salt, pepper and paprika in a small bowl until combined, then set aside.
3. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes, then spread 1/3 of the potatoes in the baking dish.
4. Pour 1/3 of the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with 1/3 of the grated cheese. Repeat this process until all the potatoes, cream and cheese are layered in the baking dish.
5. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour until the potatoes are soft.
6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 – 20 minutes, or until the potato bake is golden.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
