Garlic bread

Ingredients:

1 loaf Ciabatta or French bread

3 cloves fresh garlic (crushed)

½ cup locally-produced salted butter

1½ teaspoon parsley (dried or fresh)

Method:

  1. Slice the loaf of bread into 2cm thick slices taking care not to slice the whole way through.
  2. In a small bowl soften butter, add garlic and parsley, and mix until combined.
  3. Spread a good helping of the mixture onto one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Wrap tightly in tinfoil.
  5. Braai the loaf for 20 minutes, turning it every 5 minutes.
  6. Once the loaf is crispy and the butter has melted, take off the braai, unwrap and enjoy!
